Yara Fleet ("we", "us") provides removal and van services in Leicester and Leicestershire. This policy explains what personal information we collect through yarafleet.com and how we use it, in line with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
What we collect
When you request a booking or quote, contact us or leave a review, we collect the details you give us: your name, phone number, email address, collection and delivery postcodes, moving date and any notes about your move. Reviews include your name, town, rating and comments.
How we use it
- To respond to your enquiry, confirm your booking and provide your quote.
- To carry out your move and contact you about it.
- To publish your review on our website, only if you have given consent.
- To meet our legal and accounting obligations.
Our lawful bases are taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, performing that contract, your consent (for published reviews) and our legal obligations.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your data. Form submissions are processed by our website host, Netlify, and messages you send us on WhatsApp are handled by WhatsApp. We only share information with others where needed to deliver your move or where required by law.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't lead to a booking are deleted within 12 months. Booking records are kept for up to 6 years for accounting purposes.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, or withdraw consent for a published review, at any time. Email usef_usef33@hotmail.co.uk or call 07412 002514. If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
We only use analytics and advertising cookies (such as Google Analytics, Google Ads and the Meta Pixel) if you choose "Accept" in our cookie banner. They help us measure which adverts bring customers to us. If you choose "Reject", none of these are loaded. You can change your choice at any time by clearing your browser's cookies for this site.
Referrals
If you use a referral link or code, we record the referrer's first name with your booking so we can apply the reward to both of you.
